I Bought a stack of DVD+R 8X DVD's, I have a sony 8X Dvd burner but I have gotten alot of wall hangers with this media anyone else have this problem with these disk. or is 8X too fast to burn Movies. thanks

either 8x is too fast, or your player doesn't like 8x media.

I Bought a stack of Sony DVD+R 8X DVD's, I have a Lite-On 8X Dvd burner and finally stopped generating wall hangers when I force the burn rate down to 4X.

Maybe the rest of the system has an impact. I have a Celeron 800mhz chip, which may not be up to snuff for 8x.

Can you check the media codes with DVD InfoPro or Nero Info Tool.

Maybe 8x is not too fast for the burner but too fast for the entire system.
