From what I have been reading is suprnova is down you get this message from what I beleive were there servers:
There is no website configured at this address.
You are seeing this page because there is nothing configured for the site you have requested. If you think you are seeing this page in error, please contact the site administrator or datacenter responsible for this site. and I also uderstand there was a major bust over weekend so this may tie in aswell so maybe its good by suprnova just have to sit tight and see...

The truth is suprnova is shutting down for good, its going bye bye because of the pressure mainly from the music industry,(it is also rumoured the people who run suprnova have been put in jail from the music industry too so i dont think they will be making another site) what i really want to know is which part of the music industry done this, they think they were losing money now we shouldnt pay them a nickel for doing this to the internet, the truth is downloading benefits all.

Jail? I think this is related to the lawsuits that were filed last week against people running torrent servers, but that is CIVIL litigation with CIVIL penalties, not jail time.
There was a story on Yahoo Thursday I believe that the movie industry had filed lawsuits agains a bunch of operators of these servers. If I had to guess the cause for Suprnova's demise, that would be it.

well after a bit of looking it is plain to see that they all puss$#d out and now suprnova.org is dead. in Canada we have a privecey act. people can watch but they dont say crap. A Judge in Ont. Canada says that there is no differance in shareing files on the internet and photo coping a sheet of paper for a child in a school; i agree. transfering of info from one medium to another. as long as canadains dont make any money of it or bennifet from it our goverment says its ok . so in saying that everyone should move to canada ( hey free Health Care ) @ least when your bashed by hollywood henchmen. here's a qoute from the Admin of suprnova.org
Greetings everybody, Dec.20/04
As you have probably noticed, we have often had downtimes. This was because it was so hard to keep this site up! But now we are sorry to inform you all, that SuprNova is closing down for good in the way that we all know it. We do not know if SuprNova is going to return, but it is certainly not going to be hosting any more torrent links.
We are very sorry for this, but there was no other way, we have tried everything.
Thank you all that helped us, by donating mirrors or something else, by uploading and seeding files, by helping people out on IRC and on forum, by spreading the word about SuprNova.org. It is a sad day for all of us!
Sloncek, administrator of SuprNova.org
so hey keep seeking torrents you will still find them. Hopfully someone will come up with the Ballz to challange already rich people.
Yours truly
Ripulation!

easy way is just go to google and type in torrent search site, a list of online torrent search engines for many sites will be available to you so its all good that way

Suprnova shutting down is sad indeed. There should be a way to google any desired torrent. That way torrent files dont have to reside on any single server for convenience. Can't stop us then could they?! ... Then again, they might shut down GOOGLE! How would we find our way then?!?! NOOOO!
Kidding aside, to anyone bright enough or with the right contacts, I was kind of serious too and I want YOU to spread this idea: Make torrents google-able. Spread it!
Think about it. P2P started out with napster right? Napster got shut down cause we had to connect to a server which made searching for files fast tnx since files were indexed on the server i believe, like the way google's so fast cause they index everything. Then came Kazaa but it was slow cause u had to download the entire file before sharing and since files were no longer indexed by the server everyone connected to one big network instead which made searching for files terribly slow. Then came edonkey which solved both problems to an extent: files could be shared while downloading (much faster) and searching was done in much smaller groups (multiple servers) but there was a new problem of QUEUES. Sometimes u could wait for HOURS before u had downloaded a single byte! Imagine if losing electricity or having to reboot and having to restart at the end of the waiting list! Finally came our beloved bittorrent. No queues. Simmultaneous up and download: So Fast. BUT STILL! WHY OR WHY DO WE NEED SERVER! Ah! But then what if we removed the server entirely! The problem now is that servers are too localized in a concentrated fashion. So it's easy to target one big giant, but what's the point of targetting one when they are millions? Anyone with webspace could upload a torrent file, and as u all know there is a lot of junk on the net, atleast some of that wasteful space could be converted to useful space. Strength in numbers! make torrents google-able! Wouldn't that be genius? They can't attack the users, there's no way! There are millions of us! We're everywhere! No servers? No problem! Right? Besides, I'd like to see them try to shut down google. The MPAA (is it?) will then become public ennemy number 1! World wide boycott!
so what I'm proposing then is search: "M_soft O__ice .torrent" instead of simply "M_soft O__ice". And google, instead of returning links based on page content, add an option to return links based on file attachments. meaning, i want google to index every link that's on a page too, down to the html source code if necessary or possible.
In conclusion, the P2P world has undergone a steady evolution -- AND WE STILL ARE. In light of recent events and human kind's exciting evolution, all I have left so say is: Don't get upset! Get even! Nonviolently of course! (yes, i'm canadian too)
Good Luck! Best Wishes!
Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!
AND most importantly, SPREAD THE IDEA!

and FYI - it isnt closing down 'mainly to the music industry', as "arthen123" said; it is closing down because of the MPAA's recent actions of filing 100+ lawsuits against bittorrent sites. (MPAA = movies/films, not music)

Guys, listen:
Suprnova is (or maybe was) the biggest source for torrents ever seen. Neowin.net has something like this:
its a whole post about BitTorrent, here is the link, im not going to post it all, just the "update" of it:
Link:
http://neowin.net/comments.php?id=26353&category=main -------------
Update:
[Update] Since this article was published, Suprnova has shutdown as a hub for torrents. Although this cannot be confirmed, the shutdown is very likely related to legal action from the Hollywood against tracker websites; earlier in the week many other sites were taken down. The effectiveness of the takedowns could be massive; the paper below notes that when on the Suprnova mirrors went offline during their monitoring period, they saw a massive reduction in the number of users downloading files through the site.
------------------
and after this i just got one thing to say:
F**k loosers. I would like to pwn their ****.
Suprnova has been shutdown. Im hoping with all my fiath it can come up someday once more, which i wonder.
Maybe, we just have to say "Goodbye Suprnova, the Universe of Torrents... :("
i've been trying to find the site since tuesday, but no luck, now is thursday, 3 days off, means secure death. :'(
-----
EDIT:
BTW, here is a nice site:
http://torrentsearch.com or .net or .org
I got good news, most likely, Suprnova.org along with Kazaa, are working on a project called Exeem, read the topic on the link, from Neowin.net, its gotta be awesome. Like a kazaa but for Torrents wow, there you wont have any waiting if your buddy dont have his/her torrent running.... :)! lets see what happens! but i got faith (damn im sooo sad) suprnova is coming back to life!! long life suprnova! suprnova will never die!!!! Long life Suprnova's child:
Exeem!... yes come! come! baby!!!! we are waiting!
