Hi!

I'm trying to backup one of my DVDs, but when DVD Shrink analyzes the movie, it fails at 62% which is at the end of the roll-up title! I have also tried using SmartRipper, but it also fails! So I was wondering if it was possible to make a backup from only the .vob files (+ other files from the DVD)? I know I need the other files, but what can I do?

It is possible to copy the DVD to my harddrive, but DVD Shrink still can't open it.

I hope someone is able to help me!

So you can get the VOBs onto your harddrive. Using what program? DVD Decrypter? And then Shrink can't open them? hhmm...

Do you need to shrink them or will they fit as they are? (if they'll fit, then copy & burn using DVD Decrypter)

There are other "shrinking" programs, look in the Software section...but it sounds like it may be a problem with the movie maybe. When the VOBs are on your harddrive can you view the movie ok? (using PowerDVD or whatever you have)
