how to play downloaded xbox games?

is there a way to download xbox games from irc or something and transefer it directly to xbox? eg: i dl a game. i have it on my PC harddrive. can i use a network cable to connect directly to comp and transfer the game to my xbox hard drive and play it?

or do i need a mod chip, other software, etc??

If you're still scratching your head wondering why you haven't recieved a reply, it's because downloading a game is a piracy issue. You need a modchip. If the game size is small like 1-3G then it might play on your original harddrive. If not, replace it with a larger one.
