LiteON DVDRW LDW-4115 Not Burning at Correct Speeds

I have a liteon dvd+-rw dvd burner that is not burning but at 1X speed. I have memorex 8X speed DVD-R's and they will only burn at 1X. I have used maxwell media (DVD-R's) and they will only burn at 2.4X speed. I have gone to LiteOn's site and can not locate firmware updates. I am looking for a link/website that i can get the driver/firmware updates.
