i am having trouble.I have put my dvd writer on the bottom and my dvd rom on top and it did not help.

my dvd writer is a liteon dvdrw ldw-451s.
i cant burn anything like if it was only a cd-rom thats what it said when i boot up windows xp and recongnize the dvd-rom
i am tired of this cause i lost a lot of dvds -r and dvd+r. i dont even read dvds anymore it sucks .

please can anyone help me with this problem it would be very apreciated thx.

yes, i don't know what set up you have, but from my exp. the dvd burner/ writer should be MASTER, and the dvd rom should be SLAVE, this set up also works well with DVD Shrink and DVD Decypter as they will work together.

you might want to try www.allmediaoutlet.com for
your media they have (Ritek G04's) 100 for about $40.00 ship included)every one talks
about these and i have made over 50 with no coasters.

also my advise, even if the media is x4 or x8 only burn at 2x seems to have less coasters at that speed.
