I've been successfully DVD-9 to 2 DVD's, but, whenever I create new IFO's with IFO Edit from the main movies VOB files, I get green on green subtitles, that are terrible to read. I tried using IFO Update to copy the info from the original IFO with no luck. Can anyone tell me where in the IFO's you can change the subtitle color, and is there something I'm doing wrong with IFO Edit?

I think I figured out what to do by reading the IFO Edit guides on Derrow's site.

Basically, I need to use the original VTS_0?_0.ifo (from the movie set) and click VOB extras and check the "Create new VIDEO_TS.IFO & VTS_01_0.IFO". This should create a new VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS_01_0.IFO with the original Subtitle and Audio info intact. Then you just got to rename the VOBs if they are named different than VTS_01_?.IFO (like VTS_02_1.IFO).

you can change that color...

just open that original ifo and and choose (in the upper window) VTS_PGCITI -> PGC(where the movie is)

and then "Subtitle Color" -> "Copy Colors From This PGC"

then just open that (green subtitles)-ifo and choose (in the upper window) VTS_PGCITI -> PGC(where the movie is)

and hit "Subtitle Color" -> "Paste Colors Into This PGC"

thats it...

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Thanks Adder.

The method I mentioned worked just fine, and it solved a few other problems I was having when creating new IFOs from scratch, which was sometimes I wouldn't be allowed to switch audio channels on a settop, and if I could, they weren't labeled at all so it was hard to tell what was what.

Thanks for the info though, it will come in handy.

Adder_78: I looked in another movies original ifo and could not find the subtitle color in the PGC section of VTS_PGCITI. Any ideas?

I'll check out other ones when I get the chance.

Thanks
