DVD-r copy of a copy stuttering..

Hi all
My dvd backups work 100% perfect 100% of the time, but when i copy the backup disc, it stutters alot....
Im gunna try and just copy the *.ISO image when i get home, but has anyone had this problem??

Im using ritek G04's and burning at 1x on a pioneer
