hi, i have the Plextor PX-708A, My friend bought a Sony burner and on the front of the box it said you can upgrade it for free online from a 4x - to a 8x - . My Plextor is a 8x + , and 4x-, would there be a firmware to upgrade my PX-708A 4x- to a 8x- ??
