how do I convert .ram audio files???

I am trying to read .ram audio files, but I can't convert them to iTunes.
I tried changing the extension to .wav or to .mp3, but nothing seems to work!
Is there some software I can use that will convert this type of file for me?
Please help me, I really need to be able to listen to those files!

Check out dBPowerAMP (dMC) (below)!

1) Install the converter.

2) Then, download the Real Audio plug-in (below):
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-ra.htm

3) Install Real Audio plug-in.

4) Convert the file.

R your files protected Real Audio files? What format are you trying to convert them too (AAC/Mp4/M4a, Mp3, or Wave)?

I forgot to mention that I am using a mac 10.2.8, so I need mac compatible apps.
