I cant seem to get mpeg video to play on my TV dvd player i have converted reverted spit, blew my nose,crapped outside and i cant get how, or what i am missing Can you please help this guy before he messes on the carpet and gets his nose rubbed in it! lol tx

If you're just burning an MPEG file to a disc it won't play on most standalones. Most players require that you first author the MPEG to DVD, SVCD, or VCD format.

If you have Nero, use Nerovision Express and follow the wizard to produce a VCD or SVCD just like vurbal said.
