I have created a 1.2 gig file (mpg) via smart ripper,dvd2avi,tmpgenc however i can rip the first file with tmpg but when i request the second file it dosnt output to a file.

can any body help me

If the latest (2.52 atm) TMPGEnc doesn't allow you to split the files (that's what you're doing, right?) correctly, try to use VCDCutter or similiar tool to split the 1.2GB MPEG-1 into smaller chunks.
