Hi seanjohn1 try this:
Go to "Tools", "Settings", set everything to "Default". Then in the "General" tab change, "Removal Method" from "Normal" to "Aggressive", in "File Mode", "tick" Remove PUO's." For ripping in the "ISO Read Mode", "tick" "Remove PUO's" there also. in the "CSS" tab, under "CSS Cracking Method", choose "Brute Force ~> I/O Key Exchange" and "On Failure" choose "Yes". . IMPORTANT: In the "I / O" tab, in the bottom right, "tick" the box which says, "Ignore read errors".
Let me know if worked ; )

There was a bunch of posts about this problem before. I was told to download VOB Blanker and then go into DVD Shrink. It took alittle time but it worked and I know now have RE: Apocalypse.

Hey guys this is how it is done. I just got my resident evil apacalypse and got about 1 min 18 sec. into shrink when it quit. I read the huge thread in the dvd-r newbies and this is what I did.
Download a free trial version of super dvd copy 2.00
Here is the site: http://dvdtodivx.net/
You get 20 movie trial-free
It's very simple, there is a video guide to follow but it goes like this:
Click on super dvd copy
insert your resident evil apacolypse original dvd
select the drive,me it was from dvd rom to empty file on hard drive, remember this file.
A small screen comes up, you want to click NO-the whole movie will go onto your harddrive, into that special folder.
.
If you click yes,it will split it up into 2 discs, you might not want that.
After you click the NO- the process starts, took about 18 minutes.
Close out, go into DVD Shrink, pull your file off your hard drive, re author or not, I burned the entire movie. After shrink does its thing, Nero automatically took over to burn. It's a very nice picture, used enhancements, and I am watching it right now.
This is the first movie that DVD Shrink has let me down.
Good Luck, if I can do this, anybody can-lol
