i used to have a problem with burning ps2 games.. theyd never work... but i changed my media (i was using ritec 8x , now i got benq 4x) and my writer is a benq... Now the games somewhat work. By somewhat i mean that they only work if i put them through gameshark.. i dont understand... if i put them like other games the game doesnt run.. but when i put them in using gameshark they work fine... can someone tell me what the problem is O_o (my modchip reads other burned games perfectly.. its just hte ones I make that have the problem)

What mod chip you using? What game you trying to boot?

im not sure wat the mod chip is (but it works all the other burned games) and it doesnt matter wat the game is its the same result, i gotta put it using gameshark to run it. BTW the games run great.. its just they wont boot up like normal...

The games are dvd type games and the good media is burned on Benq x4 dvd-Rs

Are the games you are trying to boot new releases that perhaps have anti piracy measures that your mod chip cant by pass?

Jack and Daxter = pretty old...

all have same problem.. so i dunno..
