i need some major help here, i was burning a dvd using dvd decryptor and when it starts to burn my whole pc just freezes right up and gotta restart windows, i tried with alcohol 120% i get the same freeze,

athlon xp 2500
1gb of ram
2 80gigs
pioneer dvr-108 dvd-rw
lg gce8525 cd-rw

May be a possible processor overheat. Try taking the case off and blow a small fan at the processor and MB. Then try the burn again. If it works you need more airflow inside the case or a better CPU fan.

checked the temps all seems well, so i dont think its, a cooling problem, i solved the problem by changing the ide interface drivers to the generic windows drivers, and installed aspi 4.6 and fixed the freezing!!
