Using Nero with DVD +R media

I can use Nero to burn DVD +RW media, but when I try to use Nero to burn DVD +R I get the message "could not perform end of disc-at-once". I've tried using Verbatim and Phillips DVD +R.
Does Nero work with +R media?

I'm working with nero55917 with WIN98, and created
several DVD +R with a HP 200 writer.
Even the cheapest DVD +R brand is working.
Note: I did not used the orginal software from HP,
just used Nero and also working with WinONCD 5.3
Tip: try the wizard in Nero

I have had the same problem. Nero version coming with my Ricoh could not burn +R. I just downloaded latest the one (5.5.9.17)and it works
fine.

It seems there are 2 versions of nero 5.5.9.17.
The 1 wich make coasters is about 12,2 mb large.
The other one is some 12.7 MB large.(13.016kb)
This last is able to finish +R media.

I have both nero and Gear pro. Gear pro is the best for dvd burning by far. If I can explain further don't hesitate to email me or leave a post here bobbyphillippe@hotmail.com
