i downloaded a PAL game for my NTSC xbox and burnt it to a dvd but the xbox said it was a data disc, Did i burn it wrong or can i even play PAL on NTSC, i used krayzies uxe installer with unleashx dash
ps. i used quix and imgburn

What game is it?
Yes you can play PAL on NTSC.I have Hitman B. M.(PAL) and it works on my NTSC xbox.I think that you did not burn it like you have to.
Try to use DVDDecrypter to burn your iso to a DVD-R. or use Nero(go to burn image to disc) and it has to work.(I use quix and Nero)
but when you DL the game(iso) you do not need to use quix only burn the iso.

You just need to use enigmah pal/ntsc chooser...
It is on the AID 3 disc.
Them you can play PAL or NTSC games.

I followed all the instructions, the game burnt fine and when i went to play it in my xbox, it loaded up as game and everything but then it woudln't load and it said disc damaged or dirty

maybe i havent read enough but i have three questions
Can you play backup ( burned ) game on a xbox that is not modded?
If my xbox need to be flashed whats the name of the software to flash it?
Before i use evolution x do i backup the xbox software already on the xbox? if so How do i do that?

Someone help me! I followed the tutorial and I've having a small problem.
Usually, I can rip a game to my xbox HD with a program on the dashboard but, this one in particular would not copy to my hard drive due to the "file name being too long".
So, my strategy was to do a direct rip from the xbox to my PC, change the file name and FTP it back to the HD on the xbox. Everything worked like it was suppose to but, when I try to boot the game I get a blank screen.
Am I missing a step somewhere?

How can you tell the difference between a crossover cable and a straight through cable? (other than looking at the box). I know that there is a difference between the cable that Microsoft sells that you can connect directly from xbox to xbox and play system link and then theres the cat5e that you use to connect to a hub first. Either way, I tried to connect them directly and through the hub and no luck. I tried it using FlashFXP and Craxtion. What i have not tried that i saw in this tutorial is changing the ip address on your computer NIC card. I will try that probably friday when I go back home from school. I am using XBMC and have an Xecuter 2 flash. I believe I have all the following programs on my computer but cant remember too well: Nero, Craxtion, FlashFXP, DVD Cloner (something like that), and ImgBurn. I think I have all the programs I need to back up a game, correct? Al help is greatly appreciated and I will let you guys know how it goes on friday. Thanks.

Hi Guys,
I am a bit new to this Xbox backing up business and in need of urgent help!!
I can FTP the file from the xbox fine to my hard drive and xISO them with xiso a program by yursoft. After i have burnt the iso with the DVD Decrypter it just will simply wont play. The xbox is modded too.
Any help would be great......

Let's be a little less detailed about your doings. It would suffice to simply ask if the copy would work in an unmodded box. Stating that you're burning a copy for a friend is not only openly admitting to unmitigated piracy it also has no bearing as to whether the copy will work on an unmodded box or not.

hey guys
i have my xbox modded, xecuter 2.6ce
and can FTP, burn games etc.
but!!!
when i play the burnt games they freeze!
its really annoying in splinter cell DA because, i dnt save-only when i get to the next heckpoint or wateva..so wen it freezes i havta go all the way back
but cant get to the nest save point coz it freezes up
can anyone help me as to why this is?
i have igr turned off
