Bad Ritek dvd-r media

I recently purchased a 100-pack of Ritek dvd-r's from supermediastore.com, and was getting a weird problem:

Whenever i burned a dvd movie, it would crap out near the end of the movie. I figured this was just a problem with my player, but when i tried to re-make an image of the burned dvd with dvd decryptor, it always got a read error near the end of the disc (in the 90%'s).

This occurred with every single movie i tried, and every single blank i tried...so i returned the dvd's for a new batch.

In the new batch, the same problem occured - but not all the time. about every fourth dvd worked all the way through. Any ideas?

I'm burning on a pioneer dvr-104 with the newest firmware.

Sounds like poor quality media.Try other discs and only by a few at first.
