Im going crazy trying to get faster dloads with BT. Ive read all the forum and understand i have to forward my ports gateway and windows firewall. Just cant get it right.

The official FAQ page for BT has a guide for opening ports in windows firewall, but they say to enter 127.0.0.1 (local machine) in the ip field, others say my ip.

The page of my dsl modem tells me my ip: 83.234.xxx.xx, but when I do a command-->ipconfig /all it tells me: my ip= 10.0.0.1 and default gateway, DHCP server and DNS server all are the same, my modem gateway (10.0.0.xxx)

And when forwarding my ports through my gateway do i enter my ip or the local machine ip?

I know somethings not right cause of my slow dload speed and when i do a port check it says they are stealthed, and a nat check tells me no client running on 6881, even while i am downloading a single torrent. ITS DRIVING ME MAD, HELP PLEASE
