I search the forums and seen where other people have had this problem. I downloaded the AC97 and installed it. when I tried to install it says code 10. There was another guy in here that his said the same thing but there was no replys. Does anyone have any ideal on how to fix this.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

Your computer should have come with a Drivers and Utilities CD. That would be the place to start.

If you can find the Service Tag number you should be able to find the exact audio drivers for Windows XP and your computer here.

If not you need to determine if you have.

Analog Devices ADI 198x integrated audio.
