dts audio file in dvdmaestro

Can someone please tell me how to align a dts audio file with the video in dvdmaestro. When I drag the dts file into the audio section of dvdmaestro it does not align itself with the video file, unlike a dolby ac3 audio file.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

I would like to know how to convert a DTS file into an AC3 file so I can reencode my video at a higher bitrate and still have it fit on a single DVD-5.
