i have this pc http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3342237&cat=56811&type=19&dept=3944&path=0%3A3944%3A3951%3A41937%3A64213%3A64213 and it comes with a CRT monitor and im wanting to buy this http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-145-076&depa=0 will it work with it is VGA same as crt they are both 15-pin D-sub connector's but will it work please help.

CRT's operate on various levels but what you are concerned with is the input signal.

Input signal for most CRT's are analogue, the card you linked to has digital and analogue outputs so therefore it should work fine, operating on the analogue 15 pin connector...............

Should you wish to upgrade the CRT to a nice Digital TFT in the future, then the graphics card will work fine also..................using the DVI connecter instead........

...............PIO is no go, DMA all the way...............

All depends on what purpose you are buying it for.

I have an FX200 256Mb one, but only use it as I like good images on my PC.

I do not do much/any gaming really so could not comment on how good it is, but for a basic graphics card it looks fine.

Hopefully a gaming 'guru' might pop in and tell you exactly how good it is...................
