Windows Media Player and Karaoke CD's

Does WM Player support karaoke CD's ?....
What I want to do is to be able to play a karaoke CD and read the lyrics using WM player

If not, Is there any other media player software that would allow me to do so.

try winamp. there are karaoke plugins at winamp.com

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

I am trying to stick with Windows Media Player. Do I have any options (plug ins or so)?

with WMP I doubt it...its a pretty basic player. I think the only plugins for it are for visualizations.
