My friend has burnt a DVD-Video so he can play them on his Toshiba SD2109, and when it comes to playing it, it says "Disc Error" and on the screen it flashes Loading and then says "Please check Disc"

We Put the film together using Virtualdub, TMPGEnc to encode the film and Ulead to burn it, we can play it on the PC fine but when comes to play it on the DVD Player there is a problem.

Any Idea's

sorry mate, your stand alone dvd player will not play dvd-r/-rw or dvd+r/+rw, most toshiba`s dont play them, mine does not either.

i got a new one from tesco for 99 pound, plays everything.

Hi ive had the same problem i have a samsung v2000 and it supports dvd-r's. It plays fine on my ps but not on the dvd player or ps2 (its modded too). Any help???
