trying to burn the village. trying to use the ease of x copy with the decryption of any dvd. won't work i guess i will try x platinum from 321 still looking for some kick ass software to get the job done !!!!!!!!!! Help

If you want good free software then download DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. If you don't mind spending some money download CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD at less than $70 for both together. CloneDVD2 is my first choice for dvd backups but does need Anydvd to work as the decrypter. Full working trial downloads of both for 15 days to try out.

I have and paid for x platinum x copys new program and i have anydvd but it wont rip and burn Without a paddle or Village any suggestions?

Download CloneDVD2 since you have AnyDVD already. You will have 15 days to try it out on those movies.

will clone dvd also do the compression like xplatinum? i paid good money for the program but i can still get my money back. How about ease of use?

Yes, Clone compresses. It will also let you edit out extras and still keep your menu working which you can't do with Shrink. If you edit in Shrink the menu won't work. My opinion only but its one of the best programs out there. I own DVD X COPY EXPRESS but never use it any more.

Ease of use about a 3 out of 10. Very easy. Once you get to the editing section you have a preview window on left and a complete list of content on right. Click any line on right and it plays on left. If you want to keep it keep box in front checked. If you want to delete it, uncheck box. The more you take out the better the quality bar at bottom gets.
