DVD X Copy Express Burn Problems

I have a new external Sony DRX-710UL rewritable drive that reads & burns using DVD X Copy software....my problem is when using the DVD X Copy Express format from this same program it reads fine but dosen't give me a yellow button to begin the burn process....I'm using a Compaq Presario 1505, 1.60 Ghz 30 GB with W XP anyone else having this problem
