Hello-

I recently flashed by BenQ 1620 using the 1620A Generic G7P9 update. I was having a problem with Nero hanging when burn process was completed before the flash. Afterwards, no problem hanging, but my 8X DVD-R FujiFilm media is detected as 16X!! When it actually burns, a 4.7 GB disc takes 20+ minutes to burn so it looks like the actual burn time is 2X. Anybody have any idea how to correct this? A final note: the media burns perfectly, it just is burning at a (much) slower speed now.

Don't have an answer for you, but my BenQ1620 with latest firmware does about the same thing. When I use 8X -R Prodisc, Nero starts burning at 12X, but actually burns it at 4X speed. Burn seems to be fine.. ???
