Problem with Photo Story 3 & Nero Vision 3

I just started playing around with the new Microsoft Photo Story 3 and while it has a lot of limitations, the Ken Burns effect controls are better than most of the other products out there. Here is the problem, wen I use the new Ultra 6 Nerovision 3 sw to create the DVD with two movies on it, one of the movies plays all of the pictures in about 5 seconds. I have a Plextor 708-A and an NEC 3500A DVD recorder both with latest firmware. ]
Anybody seen this on their setup?

I am contemplating trying to export to Movie, then bring into Moviemaker then bring into Nero, but that seems to be a lot of xtra work.
Movies made straight from Moviemaker2 record and play just fine on my DVD player.
