this is my stupid question for the day. I have dvd audio ripper and i am trying to rip the audio tracks from a concert dvd. the problem that i am having is once dvd audio is done and i play the tracks there is only static. i then ripped another dvd and that came out fine. could there be some sort of protection on the disc that will not allow me to do this?

There could be. Are your DVDs store bought DVDs? Try using DVD Decrypter.
