I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get good music downloads. I've used kazaa but I find that only about one in twenty downloads actually work the others all fail to download. I have a few very hard to find discs that were stolen/scratched beyond recognition, and I can't find them anywhere.

Well, I personally use newsgroups almost exclusively for download entertainment content. The great thing about usenet is that basically every file posted is legit, and you can browse every file uploaded without having to do a bunch of searches. The downside is that the selection is limited to what people have uploaded in the past month or so. IRC is also good for music downloading.
