Problem with Decrypter and Shrink

I tried using ScubaPetes method (Decrypter-Shrink-Decrypter) to backup The unrated Chronicles of Riddick. When it got to Decrypter to burn, I got this error:
DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_UNLOCK_VOLUME) Failed!

Device:[1:2:0]PLEXTOR DVDR PX-716A 1.03(G:) (ATA)

Unable to unlock volume from exclusive access.

Reason: Incorrect function.

Anybody know what that's about?

What other programs are loaded on your system? Copying software mainly. Do you have In CD loaded from Nero? Or do you have Roxio easy CD creater installed?

I've been using Nero 6, but recently installed EZ CD Creator that came with my new Plextor burner. I didn't install Drag To Disk though. Could that be it?

Seems like you have packet writing software on your system that is interfering with the burning process.

Suggest you locate and disable or remove.

Try unistalling all your burning software totally!!

Then just load Nero, but DO NOT load IN CD then give it a try.

hey when i try to analyze/open disk sometimes i get this i/o error to fix it i tapp my dvd burner and then it works, im wondering if this is a hardware or software problem? plz help

InCD and Roxio will definitely interfere with Nero. I've had that problem in the past and uninstalled everything but Nero and it worked fine.
