MB has only 2 slots. Running Medion with PC2700 memory. Have a 256 and a 512 card. CPU is Pent. IV 2.66mhz. Is it worth pulling the 256 card and instaling a 512?? I also have a second 200 gig Hard Drive to install. My thoughts are to set it up with my XP sp2 and my DVD software in 1 partition and have 2 other partitions, a large one for video and a small one for dig. photos. Goal is to boot to that drive as if no other hard drive exists when I want to work with DVD's. No virus scan, firewall or any other software will be on that drive. Any updates for DVD software will have to be downloaded on original hard drive then burned to CD to get them to drive #2. The idea is to get rid of everything that is running in the background and to keep the registry small. Have tried KillItAll and it closed about 20 programs but I still do not have the speed I should. I also use Reg. Mech. and first time it ran, it cleaned up over 500 items. JohnA
