I got a Creative Muvo TX 256MB for XMAS, and have about 350MB of MP3s and want all the songs on it.

Should I convert them all to WMA?

You can convert them to .WMA files and this should allow you to fit all your files onto your device. Trry to select a bit rate that will allow all files to fit but also give good quality sound! hope this helps. Mickythin

I've said it before and i'll keep saying it till everyone knows it. Converting from a lossy format to another lossy format will result in undesired audio quality, no matter what the bit-rate or scheme! You have two options:

1) Convert the file from mp3 to Flac (or another lossless audio format) then to WMA

Or

2) Convert the file to WMA straight from the original source (at half the bit rate of the Mp3s using a CBR scheme).

How do you convert vice versa? From WMA to MP3? I'm having trouble doing it.

What software are you using? dBPowerAMP can do it after installing the WMA plug-in (assuming that the WMA file isn't protected by a Digital Rights Management (DRM) scheme.

Yea, if the file is protected then you can't convert it. It is also illegal to unprotected the WMA file (unless you were the person that created it).

WMA is a sucky format and MP3's work on everything, why not try a middle ground and go for .OGG format which is just as small as MP3 and sounds as good as WMA...

There are many CD-Rippers out there. dBpowerAMP and EAC are the best:
