Problems copying DVD and play it on a Sony DVP-S725 DVD-player

Dear all,

I have a serious problem, when I copy a DVD and want to play this DVD on my Sony DVP-S725 DVD-player, the DVD-player gives a 'C 13 00' error, which is (what I know) a copyright error. However, if I play this same DVD on my Sony RDR-GX7 DVD-recorder, I don't have any single problem!

For all your information, I use the following products;
- Sony DRU-710A DVD-(Re)Writer
- Sony DVD+R (single layer) DVD's
- DVD Shrink 3.2 (also tried DVD Decrypter)
- Nero 6 (also tried CloneDVD2)
- Sony DVP-S725D DVD-player
- Sony RDR-GX7 DVD-recorder

I have one DVD which is copied by a friend of mine in the same way (with DVD Shrink and Nero), his DVD I can play on my Sony DVP-S725. The only difference between him and me is that he uses other DVD+R (of Traxdata) and he has an other DVD-(Re)writer in his PC.

While writing this thread I googled the web about more information about the 'C 13 00' error. I now understand that it is not a copyright error but that it is a problem that most DVD-players of Sony have. However this does not explains the reason why my DVD-player excepts the (copied) DVD that my friend have made, and my made DVD which is not excepted by my DVD-player.

Does anyone has a clue for my problem...!?
