organizing play list in Windows media player?

I am having trouble keeping track of my mp3's. I am using windows media player cause I have a remote. I rip my custom cd's to folders. But WMP doesn't seem to understand that those are albums. So all sorting methods like genre, artist, album look nothing like they should. So I figured my only hope is playlist. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO MAKE A HEIRARCHIAL TREE INSIDE A PLAY LIST SO THAT i CAN ORGANIZE THEM. i NEED TO ORGANIZE MY PLAY LISTS.

another problem I have, and this is a similar problem. I organize tracks in a folder the way I want them. But when I try to copy them to Nero, or a media player, they alphabetize them. HOW TO I KEEP AUDIO TRACKS FROM BEING ALPHABTIZED WHEN DRAGGING AND DROPING THE WHOLE FOLDER-NOT INDIVIDUAL TRACKS.
