Okay.....I am considering the purchase of this board

P4P800-E DELUXE ASUS MB P4P800-E DX 865PE 800 SKT478 DUAL DDR AGP8X 5PCI 8USB2.0 GBLAN 1394

It has an AGP8X slot on it. I have an older ATI All in Wonder 8500DV card that is 2X.... will it work in the 8x board?? Otherwise, I am considering the 9600XT which is 8X compliant.......

Suggestions??

get new card as new board might not support voltage of card besides new card is faster, more ram & use newer drivers
