i have lite on. use updated DVD Decrypter to rip new css codes then DVD Shrink to compress or pull movie out by its self and then burn with Nero 6, no problems since updated decrypter- little black book, grudge or resident evil 2. BUT still if shrink cant do it first then i go decrypter second.....

hi

rip with DVD Decrypter and run AnyDVD in the background!

then if you want full dvd use new version of DVD2One as it will sort out sony acrros ifo struture protection while compressing!

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Hey i just thought i'd say that for some reason my friend backed up the program using the same exact program and burner i did and for some reason it worked on his and not mine. I dont know what to think of it but o well it leave the work to all of you'll to figure it out.

For GrudgeI used AnyDVD then shrink to compress and decrypter to burn. The weird thing is although I selected Title 1(main movie) in shrink's re-autoring option my standalone player(phillips dvp 642) was turning out the director's cut but my dvd reader played it normally.
I had to cut out the black frames in the beginning of the movie and then it finally worked! Can anyone explain to me why this would occur? I think The Grudge spooked my player LOL. BTW Ray worked fine using the initial protocol mentioned above.

Not sure if anyone will care about my update, but it seems that some of the issues I've been having are related to the weak laser in my Lite-On drive.

I've been in contact with their tech support and they've offered to swap it out for me.

Finall, DVD Decrypter and then using DVD Shrink to edit the files works fine.

If there is structure protection on the disc, use DVD2One to remove it (usually just remove first 10 cells from disc)

hi

films with sony arccos in, if you take main movie only you should be fine, but if you want full disc you need to get rid of the black looping screen etc...

now the new DVD2One corrects ifo structure and more on reauthor while compressing...which is nice! so should be fine.

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

I know there has been a lot written on the sony/universal copy protection issues. I just wanted to tell everyone my simple solution. I use dvdshrink latest version. Then I just run AnyDVD in the backround. It takes off all the encryptions including the new one. It burns fine everytime. This combo of AnyDVD and dvdshrink is very important now. Dvdshrink is not going to come out with any more updates. They have stopped updating it. So as long as you have something that will take off the latest encryption schemes, dvdshrinks life cycle could be extended for a long time

Hello you all. I'm actually a Mac user but the Grudge, resident evil apopaclypse, and almost forgotten, has a new type of cpryption-ARoccOS . Simply it imitates bad sectors on disk to stop computers from reading or copying the particular files. But luckily some dvd programs out ther has caught on. You can read about it at this site. even though it's a mac site . believe me it messes with all of us. here is the site www.ripdifferent.com read about the mactheripper 2.6.5 last paragraph. Hopefully this will help out some to see and know what to look for when getting or retrieving a dvd backup program. Good Day SEMPER FI'

The problem is that these dvds have a new copy protection (bad sectors) all that you need to sucessfully copy these movies is the latest version of 1Click DVD Copy and a dvd decryptor program such as dvd 43. I just got through burning all of these dvd/s and they all work perfectly, no black screen or any of that other bullshit. Try this and I guarantee that it will copy just fine....
