Best Software For Backing up DVD's?

I am kinda new to the back-up DVD process. I have successfully backed up several DVD's! Every DVD I have backed up with a different program. DVD Fab had to split into 2 DVD's, DVD XCopy (all versions) seem to copy the DVD to the hard drive but cant copy to DVD! And lately suddenly restarts my computer at about 3%. Other programs copy first half perfect but last half didnt work at all (froze around 1hr 11min) I have gotten really agrevated at this crap cause DVD's are expensive and the software is just as expensive and I feel like I am wasting money, time and effort towards backing up my dvd's! Any help would be great? Preferably suggestions to programs that are reliable!
