I have used most of the popular p2p progs with all mixed results, ...Been to many forums and heard all sorts of pro's con's but the same question keeps poping up SECURITY (and am i being tracked) And it seems that nearly all p2p progs can be tracked The ppl who want to know who you are?? DO!!!.... They use better technology to do traces on us than we think, And if we think Zone Alarm or p2psecurity andor Peer Guardian works... well think again just to test this out go to http://www.privacy.net/ and you will see for yourself. only once i did i manage to block the test from Privacy.net was by using Ghost Surf..(not real sure of the integrity of that prog either) So it seems that All info/data you download has to come back through to your INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (isp) Most of them dont really care what you download as long as you pay your account on time----But if your ISP gets a legal request by any of the law enforcement bodies (the blue form -WARRANT FOR INFORMATION ) Aussies go here http://www.afp.gov.au/afp/page/GovCorporate/warrants.htm They have to hand over the all the info on your downloading habbits then its off to court you go. A majority of ppl who go to court have a huge amount of mp3s games movies on there hard drive(s) to share ect but on the odd occasion a small fry downloader gets made an example of Now to get to the point ive been trying to use this prog called ANts with little luck its a pain to instal not easy to connect to other sources and the interface is a bit clunky. BUT they say Quote "ANts P2P realizes a third generation P2P net.
