Anyone dealt with Ray yet?
I was at the vid store yesterday and they were all out
what should i expect...
dvd5 or 9? (check the system and the size is not there]
did dvdshrink work with anydvd?
did dvd decrypter work with anydvd?
or any other additional advice would help..

i burnt it using AnyDVD in the background, then shrink, then decyrpt. worked fine for me. it also is 2 cds, but i only did the main one.

In case you're still wondering, it's a DVD9. I also used AnyDVD with DVD Shrink and got it no problem.

After two days of trying I finally copied RAY using an older version of DVDShrink but now when I try to play the movie it gets to the menu and I hit play the movie just locks up. I used Decryp. to burn an ISO to my hard drive and DVDShrink to shrink and burn. Could someone please help me on this.

I got Ray to work. I used decrypter in file mode and then I re-authored with shrink and burned just the main movie. It still compresses to about 60 something percent I believe, but it worked and plays on my dvd player.

Smackfrog, did you use title 1, title 2 or both during the reauthor. Also is there a way for me to include the opening menu without any problems. thanks

hi
if keeping the whole movie, you need to get rid of the black screen part, cut it out or replace with still image in shrink! then reauthor....
the part causes a loop if not sorted! films like grudge ray forgotten little black book etc...
Nothing here to see, move along folks.

hi everyone newbie here. i tried coping RAY with AnyDVD and then clone dvd. what i'am getting is AnyDVD does it's job but clone dvd is different. it will burn all the way to the end then when it's at the flushing buffers writing borders stage it just freeze's right there. then if i stop the burner and play the disc i get a disc error need help

I got it the first time. used decripter, DVD Shrink , Nero. When you shink the movie start at the first frame this should do it.

Ok, I read all this and i'm having similar problems, i first got the bad read v04, then ran any dvd and xcopy, good til the end then CRC error, so I copied all the files from the temp file before xcopy deleted and watched checked the files, everything is there, so i recopied them in and had xcopy finish the burn and it did, won't play. I again watched the files on my hard drive and everything is there, 1st track. I tried clonedvd2 same thing CRC error, but all the files are there. I was going to try Nero, but haven't used it yet..
