Ray won't decrypt with dvd decrypteror shrink

Hi all,
On the 05-02-2005 CloneDVD2 ver 2.7.5.1 has been updated for this new type of mastering protection.
Give this a go with the latest version of AnyDVD 4.5.7.2
This should work

I think my problem is my dvd rom drive. Trying to figure out how to update firmware. Movie ripped in another drive.
Government big enough to supply everything you need is powerful enough to take everything you have.

HI EVERYONE. I JUST FINISHED DOING "RAY" WITH DVD Shrink..NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THIS MOVIE.. ALSO REMEMBER YOU CAN USE DECRYPTER,AnyDVD,AND DVD Shrink. I HAD TO USE THESE WITH "ALIEN VS PREDATOR".
IF ANYONE NEEDS FURTHER ASSISTANT LET ME KNOW..

had same probs... just burned a copy of "Ray". Used AnyDVD, and DVD Decrypter, saved files, put still image on unreferenced material (dvd shrink - also burned with that -Nero-), eliminated all unenglish languages and played around. Looks great. Maybe I got lucky...

I also had to use DVD Decrypter to decode then Shrink re-author to burn Ray. It came out good too.

i had all sorts of issues burning a backup of Res Evil 2,
in the end i had:
:: AnyDVD running in the bg,
:: ripped using DVD Decrypter (latest one) - use file mode and had to swap to brute force (cant remember where that is - i/o maybe)
:: burnt with dvdclone as dvdshrink kept asking for a VOB that didnt exist!
worked a treat after that

DAD,
The destination folder shown in #7 will be a default folder that decrypter sets up. You can change the folder to be whatever drive/ subfolder you would like.
Just create a folder called movies on your desktop or wherever is convienent. Then when step# 7 arrives you can clisk the folder icon to the right of destination folder. Decrypter will place the video_ts file into that folder so you can go back and find it.
Sometimes decrypter will burn in iso mode & shrink will not recognize the files in the folder. I have run into this problem several times and have yet to determine the cause. I usually rip with Shrink alone or use decrypter in ISO mode and then re-author with shrink.
Hope that helps a little

I had the same problems with DvdShrink. I then decrypted with dvd decryter and then used CloneDvd2 to shrink it down - worked perfectly.

hi
if you rip main movie only there isnt a problem on burn and play!
only if you keep whole dvd you need to make a still image in unreferenced material
(get rid of the JUMPING BOY or RUNNING girl etc etc...)
its a screen to make dvd copy's looop on that part and not play!
Nothing here to see, move along folks.

wheeeeew i go out of town for a few weeks and look at the hostility here. welcome to russia boob, where you must apologize for stating your opinion before being burned at the stake.
just kidding, sorry but ray just didnt get me going.
gatlin, my comment was to the point. i said that you werent missing much by not being able to back it up. also, im not too sure of my 3 favorite movies. definitely not ray, sky captain, or without a paddle.
