can any one help me to speed up my downloads i have opened my ports turned off firewall and im still d/loading at 2-5 KBS all other discussions talk about getting 100KBS+ DOWNLOAD SPEEDS i dont know if i have a router but im on broadband with ntl and have a little silver box on my tower please can someone sort this out for me as my movie downloads can take up to 2-3 days

ive put fire wall back on
ive got ports 6881-6889 open
im on windows xp using no other prog Azureus and bit comet made no improvement it still was slow after an hour at 8KBS
i think connection is 150ks does that sound right

150kbps?

if thats it then you will only get about 8-10kbps

what can you download at normally? if you download from a webpage or sumat...

when i first started downloads were at 15-20kbs idont know whats gone wrong my mate has the same connection speed and his get to 60kbs on occassions i dont know if that speed was right for my connection speed

so what your saying is if i upgrade my internet speed to 750k or 1.5gb i will get better download speeds if i done that roughly what speeds could i get
