Hi CKY,
It looks like the DVD is scratched or dirty.
Does Shrink hang up at the same spot?
Maybe try cleaning it.
Good Luck,
HW.

Yeah I think thats the problem cause it is an older movie and has just like 2 minor hair line scratches on the bottom. Shrink catches it a little earlier than Decryptor but I would put money on it that its the scratch. Is there away to get around that so that I can rip it. Like will a scratch repair kit work?

CKY,
I think Scuba Pete has a homemade recipe for repairing minor scratches somewhere in the forums but I'm not sure where. Try doin a bit of searchin, I'm sure you'll find something that will help. If you have a scratch repair kit then give er a whirl.

Yes it was a scratched disk but I finally got around the error. Thanks for your help anyways. Cant believe Ive burned over 200 DVDs and never encountered one error like that before.

Oh yeah and CREST TOOTHPASTE works well. Just get some on a cloth and swirl it over the scratch and it will slowly disappear.

cky,
Glad to hear you had success. I had the same problem right after my last post to you last night. I also used toothpaste (Colgate hehe...) to fix my problem. Was gonna mention it this am. but looks like you found it on your own.
Happy Burnin,
HW.
PS. I wonder what brand gives you whiter, brighter DVDs
with less cavaties (scratches)?
