Hi
I am currently using 512kbps boardband connected to the ADSL router. Of course I disactivate my other computers. But the download speed is very slow up to 2kbps and I don't know why. Is anyone can help to increase my download speed?
Thank in advance

Erm my computer is connected to ADSL - (DL-G604T) and Im currently using Azureus. I have configured my firewall and router to allow data transfer on 6881 port. I was expecting to see green face and my download speed increased about 200kps but i still get the face faces hence NAT problem and the download speed is the same

Hi
So far I have managed to get green face but the download speed is very low which doesn't exceeds 5kbps. Am i right that there are too many people are downloading because of peer - 67(103)? I assume that there are 9 or 13 computer have already downloaded the film. Please correct me if Im mistaken about peer and seed?
I read some posts that people can download up to 200kbps and I would have that. Any suggestion?

in Azureus it will say:
seeds -
Peers -
the information will be under the headers, let us know how many seeds their are.
and neewbie is right in what he first asked, have you got service pack 2 installed?
have you got windows firewall activated?

right, first step.
disable windows firewall & go into services and disable security center - their sh*t.
second step, go here http://lvllord.de/?lang=en&url=downloads and download the patcher for SP2.
third step - this patcher will change the amount of half open connections your computer (SP2) uses to download from P2P appz, because microsoft have limited it to ten, therefore terrible speeds. don't worry ive used it - and so have many people, its clean.
fourth step, report back and let us know if you have succeded in getting good speeds

I have installed it and the window box says that:
files are required for windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions. to maintain system stability, windows must restore the orignial versions of these files
Should I click cancel?

So far I have followed your instruction:
Disabled window firewall
Downloaded the file as you gave me the link
Executed the software
Clicked the cancel button in order to avoid to reinstall the Window XP SP2 to get stability
RESULT: No significant effect
Maybe I have missed something out.
Plz advise me

ok, do something for me will you?
goto http://www.dslreports.com/stest
and post the results of your speed test - this will tell us whether your internet is just slow, or your P2P is slow.

PS:
a proxy is a piece of software which connects your computer through another server (ip address) so it helps with anonymous activitys.
