Hi Loner

I want to say that Im very grateful for your big help for last few days. I would recommend anyone to use this site for dealing with technical difficulties.

Btw do you know any good proxy anonymous? So i can download in my computer to hide my IP address

hey guys i tried doing the thingy with the sp2 update and i'm not sure number i should put rather than 10. for now i put 100, i wanted to put more but i thought that maybe it would be easier for hackers to get into my computer because of this so i left it at 100. for some reason my downloads have been running slower because of this and my internet is 5mbs so i find that a little messed up, especially at the fact that i can only dl at around 40k. so yeah i just wanted to know how much i had to put for the sp2 update, also when the application finished it asked for the windows xp cd i was wondering if i have to put it in thanks.

hi i have 2 PCs off my router both running BT. I find the one configured as the DMZ host will have green downloads while the other will have yellow. that's just the way it is, and I can flip back and forth by going into my router controls. So if you still have a yellow status light indicator, despite having the ports fowarded etc etc try to set your PC has the DMZ host.

you won't find a good proxy if you want to download through it, if you do it will be at the speed of a 56k modem, very slow.
you can use one to browse the internet - although yes, it would be very slow.

didn't you read what it said on the little application? it says that when that pops up click on cancel then it will pop up saying "do you want windows to keep these unrecognised versions" you say yes - then it will work.

also, 50 half open connections should be enough.
