i got up there once, but now the highest i ever get is 9k. I'm pissed to all hell. if I wanted speeds for dial-up, I wouldn't be paying for broadband.

I have just regular cable service. I use BitTornado 0.37. It was a file with 600+ seeders and 3 leechers. It might have gone faster, but 697kbs was the fastest I saw when I was watching it.

haha

i have a 100MB connection and the lowest i get with a good torrent is abt 200 kbps.
my highest was 1200kbps which is also 1.2 Mb per second. it takes me abt 1 hour to download a 4.5 GB file.

you pay for your 100mb connection?
if so I'd like to be entertained by the fee.

Personally there is a limit to how fast I want a file. I tend to save everything I download and that means the faster I dl them the less space I have. I have several HDDs just sitting around not installed, because there are no room in the cases. I will have to buy some external enclosures methinks.
