I am interested in finding a good p2p site all these threads seem pretty darn confusing. Any body got any launch off points for me? I would like to do it the best I could using some of the programs I have seen such as peerguardian I need a sinsai!!!

OK sensei...I have a few questions for you. I have used bearshare but I think from reading these posts that their are a lot better sites out there correct? Right now all we have is a dial up motem will that be a prob soon to get broad ban. Shoul I just download bittoret or the experimental one ? Thanks ...... Hey I appreciate the help any you could give as well.

protowall is a driver based ip blocker - you can get it and lots of other information/software to help with security from www.bluetack.co.uk

it will take you to its information page

OK so everytime I want to download I have to just click on item and it will do the rest I never down loaded anysoftware for example if I go to viptorrent just click on something and it will download?

the torrent will download
then u use torrent software to download the file, like azureus

No offence taken, Like I said I had no idea where to begin. You pointed me in the right direction!! I am reading the guide now on Azureus I see what I have to do. I see where it says to download protowall and blocklist together.Thats where I am at.. I have one question if you don't mind. My wife is worried about the feds coming to get me. What are the chances of being detected? Also I am reading the guide, now I know how to navigate, if I have any other questions now that I am on the right path could I ask you? They won't be stupid ones....Thanks

chances of being detected with bittorrent? very low - but they are their in the background, lol nothing is 100% but, its very unlikely that you will get caught by anybody, aslong as you take the right precautions. youll be fine

I was reading on one of the guides for the Java it say's that the software can make the rest of your system run real slow have you had any prob's with that? Running with less memory may cause disk swapping which has a severe effect on performance. Very large programs may require more RAM for adequate performance.

Well I guess if I download it and my system is slow I'll know why!!! Also I am having probs downloading the protowall Can I just use peer guardian?

OK With the fear of sounding stupid, I get this. "Proto sys. Is not loaded Install the driver then reload this application" What do I do reboot the system? Thanks for the info... WOW Sorry about that the web site said it was not responding... ANy way rebooted the message still popped up. under my msconfig start up it says prog is running, any thoughts?
