How can I combine VOBs from different DVD's?

Hello,

I'm trying to combine a couple vobs from Pearl Harbor disk 1 and Disk 2, but after I rip the vobs and put them through IFO Edit the combined vobs don't play in the order that they should because they are from different disks and are numbered differently. I tried to change the numbers so that they would play in order but that didn't work.

What I'm trying to do is put 1/2 of the movie on 1 DVD-R and the rest on another DVD-R because most of the movie is on the first disk and it's way over 4.38GB. So, I need to figure out a way to put part of the movie from disk 1 and the rest from disk 2 on to 1 DVD-R and play the chapters sequentially.

Does anyone know what I need to do to make the vob files (chapters) play in order?
