Alias Season 3 burning issues..

Hello,

I'm a n00b to AfterDawn, but not to DVD burning itself.

I have an HP DVD Writer dc4000, and I'm trying to burn the third season of ALias.

Using DVD Shrink, it rips fine..
I use Alcohol 120% as a means for burning..

I've ripped and burned successfully hundreds of DVD's using this drive, but for some reason, the burning operation always fails at around 50-55%.

I don't understand why or how, as DVD Shrink works perfectly.

I'm using Fujifilm 8x DVD-R's..
One thing I should point out is that I am using a Cardbus PCMCIA USB 2.0 card, as my laptop doesn't support USB 2.0 standalone, but as I mentioned before, this has never been a problem in the past.

Any suggestions or anything would be greatly appreciated.

If I'm understanding you correctly the problem only arises when burning with Alcohol and has only recently become a problem, correct?

Have you tried reinstalling A120?

No actually, I never did try reinstalling Alcohol..

Do you think that would have an effect on it?
