Hi, I'm using bearshare and my download speed are extremely erratic. They go from 1.5 mbps to 250Kbps and yet at the lowest, it might get to 200kbps, it still takes like 1 hour and 45 minutes to download a movie. How would i find the real download speeds? And how can i control my dl speeds?

I know what you mean, but what I am asking is why it says I'm Downloading at 1.7 mbps but, I'm not really downloading that fast. It says 1.7mbps and the movie will still take 1 hour and 45 minutes. It not showing the correct downloading speed.
